Luxury cars are every ones interest since many years. The car we buy must have nice indoor and out door features that are worth buying. One such car is the Freelander. The new Freelander features improved ground clearance and promises greater off-road capabilities, closer to other Land Rover models and significantly above those of rivals such as BMW and Audi. Best about Freelander are Looks good, feels agile, goes well, supremely capable off-road. Roomy, nicely finished and well equipped. Land Rovers were manufactured primarily at the Solihull plant near Birmingham England plant, near but production of the Freelander. The Land Rover Freelander is the Nation’s favourite SUV, with more than 200,000 examples finding homes in the UK alone since 1997. The recent popularity of SUVs is generally thought of as one reason the U.S. population has begun to consume more gasoline than in previous years. SUVs are, as a class, much less fuel efficient than comparable passenger vehicles. Used prices start from only a few thousand pounds, and the model’s attractive combination of car-like dynamics, excellent value for money and smart styling explains its popularity on second-hand forecourts. The brand has been elevated to a cult status amongst Land Rover enthusiasts. Nowhere is this more evident than the Land Rover club environment. Freelander was based on a heavily modified Maestro floorpan, with a unique body, transmission and suspension. Military modifications for a Freelander include heavy duty suspension, uprated brakes, 24 Volt electrics, convoy lights, electronic suppression of the ignition system, blackout curtains and mounts for special equipment and small arms.
